Unworthy

As I lean in close to catch a whiff of you
The smell of your hair intoxicates my nose
Now mixed with your refreshing scent
I'm sent spinning into the air, head over heals
I can only linger for moment
For I feel I will become too weak

As I pull away from my spot on your shoulder
I dare to sneak a look into your eyes
A mistake I've made before, yet I never seem to learn
They're like powerful stones, with a glimmer of light
I can tell, they've already caught mine

Once again, I'm forced to pull away enchanted
Making a small laugh in an unsuccessful attempt
To cover up the enchanting spell it seems you've put on me
You draw me closer, and I know what will follow

A fumbling kiss from me, lands upon you perfect lips
I linger there for only a moment
Not wanting to ruin the allure
With my feeble and clumsy kiss

I feel unworthy to grace your presence
But still, you pull me closer and engulf me in your arms
