About the lies you've been spoon-feeding me
The craziness of this whole disaster
Like a hurricane I want to be swept away
I wished upon a star but it didn't get me far
The only thing it left me with was a broken heart
Waiting for an answer I knew would never come
How hard would it be to tell me what I need to know?
The hardest part was letting go and then reaching
Back into the cookie jar that holds my heart trapped
How can you sit by and watch me fall and drown
Drown in what I wish would save me
