Well I can't make any promises or even particularly interesting hints because lots of things are just embryonic ideas floating around at this point, but I know I want to revamp/redesign/re-invigorate a lot of things about the boards and content, so hopefully you're around long enough to see things change/grow more to your liking.

Wow! This is a surprise. And awesome! I do hope you can stick around for a little while. Or return when your temporary 7-day schedule eases up.

Because she seems to be quite busy this Week.

If she were THAT busy she wouldn't have responded to hellos at all.

No, not that busy, thank god. But I have some crazy shifts, and it can sometimes be more wearing than it should be, especially when two-hour bus rides are involved.

I'm just a :ditto: who roleplayed/wrote/so-on back in the Comm. While as of now I stopped doing much, I still roleplay, mostly in NWN2 persistent worlds, and write, mostly for the backgrounds of my NWN2 characters. Certainly helps to have a lot of concepts to recycle. :)

Does being a Ditto mean that you randomly change into other People?

I'm not entirely sure what 'NWN2' (Neverwinter Nights, maybe?) is... Regardless, Bus Rides of that Length are seldom agreeable.

Neverwinter Nights 2, yes.

And the Ditto part actually doesn't refer to the Pokemon. A decade or so ago, I made the name as a joke towards a person who declared he'd slap anyone who said "ditto". It stuck. :D

I see.

I suppose I appeared sometime after you left. I'm some Variety of Graduate Student, and also a Writer.

At what are you working, Ditz? Though I suppose the what is only marginally relevant to the fact that as Albert said, such a bus ride sounds awful.
Also I feel better adding another person to my little list of people whose writing mostly comprises personal character clips.

Grunt work at a university - just got home today. Not glamorous but it pays the bills. I have a car, but I use it for my closer weekend job.

What's your weekend job? /interrogation

@Ethan: Maybe we should add a subforum for personal character clips. It'd give me somewhere to put my (admittedly novella-length and so hardly a 'clip') Threin and Ardi backstory. :P

I don't see why those couldn't go in the Writing Corner.

Yeah, it wasn't an entirely serious suggestion. But we do have quite a few people who write character clips. (Myke has posted loads of his OC drabbles over the years, for a start.)

I don't see a reason to segregate character anecdotes. Writing's writing, after all. ;)

Back now, for a while hopefully. Got the diss handed in with time to spare, which was nice, and I'm feeling pretty confident about it. For now.

Also got past a big milestone for the group project that we'll be showing off at the end of year, so that's pretty cool :)
