So there's this group, Chameleon Circuit, that's put out an album that's pure Time Lord Rock.

[quote="Last.fm"]In August 2008, Alex Day searched the web for “Time Lord Rockâ€

I was disappointed when you told me the compilation album wasn't too good, but I love the first one. It's the lyrics that get me, and I think it's wonderful that someone's actually created an album about Doctor Who, rather than simply doing arrangements of music from the soundtrack (nice as it is to hear arrangements of the music).

Oh definitely.

It's a very nice blend of relevant and whimsical I believe too. Particularly in Gallifreyan History 101 and Journey's End.
I think the two I like the most though are Exterminate Regenerate! and An Awful Lot of Running.

Out of both albums though, my least favourite has got to be Miss Martha. Gawd, don't be hatin' Bad Wolf Bay.

Very nice. Just went through the sample album on the site, and Exterminate Regenerate! seems to have really caught my ear. The way the whole song seems so desperate and how the whole song feels so urgent and almost as if it was about to collapse sounds REALLY good.

Exterminate Regenerate! is also one of my favourites, together with An Awful lot of Running and Blink.

Gallifreyan History 101 is highly danceable, I can tell you that.

I won't believe THAT until I see it.

I love it! Any album that has a song about weeping angels is pretty ace in my book.

Hey, now I actually have music about Doctor Who, instead of just having to assume that random unrelated songs are!

Although I might still do that anyway.

You know, all you really have to do is addict some major recording artist to Doctor Who, then you could get LOTS of random songs about Doctor Who.

I don't know if I'll ever listen to anything else again.

Tis difficult to break. I just put the album on repeat for the first 24 hours after I got it.

I was at home most of that day.
