The dapper robot gent (I guess he's a robot, or that's a mask, it's hard to tell) with the shotgun cane has my attention. I'll be keeping an eye on this to see how it turns out.

Very pretty, but what sort of game is it? I might have guessed MOBA if it weren't for the multi-platform thing, those don't usually work as well on consoles unless it's a different control dynamic (like, could see something like Smite working on consoles).

I just read up about it. Since it appears to be a mainly first-person game I'd probably be terrible at it but the premise looks really interesting, as does the range of characters, and visually it's really beautiful.

I'll be honest, I could have stopped watching it after, "From the makers of Borderlands" and been sold. That said, the rest looks very good too.

I could map the basic controls for a MOBA to a modern Console Controller, but it really at the end of it all, No matter how you set up the gameplay, the primary issue with Console MOBAs is communication. Either I have to drop the controller and use a plugged in Keyboard to type, Use some in system interface to do so, quick commands, which wouldn't give you the depth you need, or It'd require voice, and Having to listen to Highschoolers try insult me by implying a non standard Gender preference, or Use racist slurs, or imply a close relationship with my mother is pretty much the reason I don't do non-MMO online gaming.

I've shown this to a few people since Zeth threw it at me and I drowned in my robot-love-vomit, and I'm rather interested in how everyone's getting a serious MOBA-vibe from it. I didn't get that at all, but almost everyone else seems to, so that's something.

For those who haven't looked about, it's a first-person, (up to) five-player coop shooter, much in the vein of Borderlands, in which players choose one of nine distinct characters and then go on a freaking adventure to save the last dying sun from being wiped out by nasty bug-robots. I love every bit of this. Additionally, it looks like they are trying to cash in a little bit on the competitive side of things, with ten-player verses games of various modes, but that's also cool. I'd expect that you'll have the typical free-for-all, 5v5, capture the flag, base defence, type game modes and such, but they will probably borrow some from the MOBA game-types as well. I'd actually quite like to see a League-style game mode played in this, though I couldn't say how well that would go down.

Overall; am excite.

EDIT: Nah, who we kidding, I'll end up playing Heavy Assault Cannon Guy or Bow Chick.

Sword-Mage-Valkyrie seemed pretty badass too. I wonder how they'll deal with all of these swords in an FPS XD

I'm fully behind the formation of Mercury's Clockwork Gentry Division. o/

Really, REALLY hoping they allow for Cross platform multiplayer, but I highly doubt they will. Especially as it is playable on Xbox. They did a study.

Well, since you've demanded them...

On the Trailer alone, I was picturing some Kind of action RPG (perhaps our Perceptions of what it is reflect what it s we most frequently play), but the Whole is hardly eliciting more than 'That's nice, I suppose' from me. I can't say what it is, but something doesn't bring the Whole together for me, but I'm fairly sure that I should be very interested were I to have something very like what I've just seen described to me.

I actually tend more to Hack and slash, action platformers, action RPGS, tactical RPGs and traditional RPGs. I looked at it and Saw a MOBA because I had the idea on my brain at the time because I read Nils' comment before watching. Then the article I read referred to it as a "First Person Battle Arena", Battle Arena being the "BA" from MOBA.
