I always liked that Mushroom Kingdom level with the POW blocks.

Hey that'd be pretty cool, re: the 3DS side, since that would be what I'm getting now in any case, seeing as how I don't have money to get a Wii U lol.

Honestly, I was betting that It would be Isaac. He WAS an assist trophy after all...

Also, if it IS Isaac, then I really don't think we'll see a tales character.

Link
2 FE characters
Isaac and possibly (ASSUMING they add two reps from the Golden sun francise) Felix

that's already a lot of sword wielders

Then again I could be over thinking it.

That's why I was hoping for not Isaac in the Golden Sun franchise, but of course, that's who represents the series, so...

Coworker of mine posted this list of characters he'd like to see in the game. Some of them overlap with ours.

Wanna Punch that dog in the Nose so hard.

And Yeah, I figure that's a pretty standard list.

Also, Pikmin has been confirmed to return. Not a shocker, but nice to get updates.

So... New addition... Ah man. The Duck hunt stage. No Pit, just the walls and top as death points. Every so often ducks fly across the screen, if you wind up in front of one, you get shot. And the Dog laughs at you. And we want to punch him in the nose.

Since having team attacks was such a staple of Awakening, a special move (or just his Final Smash) could include having another character from the game assisting in delivering a blow to his adversaries.

With my return, I'd like to take this time to remind everyone I called BOTH Little Mac and Pac-Man the same week SSB4 was announced at E3 2013

Kennori wrote:
...Little Mac: I really believe he's going to be added regardless and out of my previous four contenders, he has the highest chance, and a probable one. The remake of Punch out was a huge hit, and even landed a spot on the Wii classic games list.

If I had to choose one from this list, It's Little Mac, hands down...

Third Party games that have appeared on Nintendo consoles: (These are HIGHLY unlikely to be put into the roster due to the fact Sakurai has stated he wants to stay closer to the First party as opposed to third party. However I feel that these name are slightly possible. Also these are all Namco names.)..

..Pac Man: This originally started as a joke between my room mate and myself, however after seeing the Villager in the roster, I say Pac Man has the strongest chance of being put in since it's a child friendly fighter, and it would be hilarious to see his final smash turn everyone into blue ghost that get thrown off screen by Pac man just TOUCHING them.

If I had to choose from these five, I would Say Yuri and Pac Man are tied. Yuri's been getting a lot of love from Namco, and like I said with Pac Man, he has a child friendly aspect about him that makes him great for a Nintendo title.

That's it for me

I've been playing the demo; it's quite enjoyable, and Mega Man plays very well. I also find Link and Mario generally as I left them, and still dislike Pikachu. We also have an Animal Crossing Villager, about whom I've no noteworthy feelings, though it plays fine.

I'm not completely happy with the circle-pad for control. I'm getting used to it, but it's still not quite as reactive as I'd like. Hopefully in the full version you can rebind controls to the D-pad.

Apparently people playing the demo have been literally breaking their circle pads, so yeah, I hope you're right.

I'm not really sure how the D-Pad would work to tell the difference between tilt attacks and smash attacks though. o_O

Anyway, I've been playing the heck out of the demo and I've enjoyed every second of it. MegaMan took a little while to grow on me but now I'll definitely be using him a lot, and Villager is pretty fun to play too. The other 3 are more or less the same, but I won't complain since there's going to be so many brand new characters to try. ^_^

Well I don't know how this iteration may differ, but with Brawl I always used the wiimote sideways without the nunchuck, so that was always D-pad for me. Rarely any trouble.

Ah, ok, I always used the GCN controller and the one or two times I used the Wiimote I instinctively added the nunchuck, so it never even occurred to me that the Wiimote alone was possible. XD

On a semi-related note, the full game is drawing nearer and nearer. Get hype! And then, you know, get some more hype when the Wii U version comes out a bit over a month later.

So I haven't gotten a chance to pick it up yet because of school, hoping to this weekend, but I'm guessing some of you guys have, and since my other friend hasn't gotten back to me about it, can you re-bind the controls away from the circle pad? Or is it stuck like that?

Oh you can't... so you have to be super fucking careful to not break your circle pad

So since the wii U version is out in a couple of weeks, if you're scared you'll break your 3ds circle pad, I'd wait for that.
