A former Lethain Corporation military repair Station and shore leave location, it has since been re-purposed and redesigned as a tourist vacation spot for both Citizens and visitors to Lethain occupied space. Generations ago when it was first re-purposed, the Family Head had a residence built as his personal abode, and it has since been off and on used as either a primary residence or a vacation home depending on the Current acting Family head. As such, the station still has a reasonable military presence in the underside of the station. Much of the day to day operation takes place in the "underground" sections of the station, leaving more room for the park up top.

[from the Realm's Main Hangar]

"I'm just assuming Keris has an Evil Twin." Richard said, finishing a statement from before.

After the crew exited the Ship, they were in a rather large dockyard with various people moving about and a few other ships of varying sizes also docked.

Johnathan turned around once the crew was out and looked at them. "Keris?" he asked.

"Oh, right, introductions. Crew, this is Johnathan Ralethain, my somewhat distant decendant, head of his own branch of my family. Jack, these are whom currently run as the Realm crew. Keris is the grumpy one, Syn is the one grinning ear to ear, Raine is the one about to smack him, Shaina is the one with the lolipop, less grumpy one with military posture and a lack of a Lethain enterprises uniform is Emiris, The gentle giant in the back is Timothy, and the one looking down his nose at everything is Cassius. I think the last two count as visiting dignitaries, not sure if that matters." Richard said, not bothering to look back at the rest of his new compatriots.

"I... see." replied Johnathan.

"Let's not get started on my family." Syn grinned a little wider, following the main party closely, taking pictures all the way.

Raine had meant to say something as well, though when she thought about it a moment more she was left with a bitter taste in her mouth. She grumbled a little instead, and quietly, but firmly, brought to Syn's attention that the assorted military personnel surrounding them might not appreciate his snapshots. Syn laughed her off, and she felt obliged to follow with a punch to his shoulder, just in time for Richard's introduction.

"Ah, I do love a bit of prophecy." Syn chuckled, nursing his arm as though it had hurt a lot more than it could have. "Pleasure to make your acquaintance Johnathan. Should I ask about the nickname? I kinda want to ask about the nickname."

"It's not a nickname," Johnathan stated firmly. "It's not even a name."

Cassius stopped looking around at the menial labour surrounding him and self-consciously shifted his gaze slightly before immediately raising it again. "Special note of honourable representative status?" He looked at Richard, "You never bothered to extend anything such as would be due before."

"You never explicitly asked," M remarked casually without making eye contact, instead nodding genially to Jonathan and then a nearby worker. "You simply assumed. Very nice to meet you, Mr Ralethain."

"A pleasure," Johnathan returned with a curt nod. "Any special status can be attributed as you see fit. We can handle it when we re-affirm and reactivate your corporate assets, Richard." He paused for emphasis. "We will need to do that. Even if you didn't mind walking around your own empire like a pauper...formalities."

"Like a pauper?" Shaina perked up after crunching her diminishing lollipop. "Implying the obvious that he isn't. Richard your company spans galaxies; how rich are you?" She narrowed her eyes. "I spent months keeping the hot water running on the Intrepid and you could have bought us a resort ship with turbolasers built in."

"He could have bought each of us a resort ship with turbolasers." Syn chimed in. "But we got by just fine, right? Nothing like roughing it out in the depths of space. Lovely, hospitable, ever-so-friendly space."

"Lethal, harsh, gasping-and-freezing space," Shaina corrected facetiously. She quickened her pace over to Richard and scooped him up and cuddled him in the most inappropriately stuffed animal way she could. "Buy me starships and diamonds and military grade thermocatalytic reagents, Richard Lethain!"

"..Hell, I'd just settle for some fried chicken." Syn shrugged. "Some people just want the world... or, at least one or two of them."

Raine was having a hard time staying sombre with the present company in full-swing. It was hard to believe that this group had only just now stepped off of a wreck they'd salvaged and drifted in on after fighting some kind of mechanical psuedo-deity and a horde of lizard people. Not that she was in any position to judge what 'normal' was, but even by her standards they'd been through quite a bit. And now Syn was pointedly taking pictures of the most disgruntled people he could, Richard was being treated as a stuffed animal, and Shaina was... Shaina. It was almost overwhelming. She smiled a little.

"Hey, if there's fried chicken going, I'll have some too." She said quietly, not wanting to really impose on the others.

"You'll have to fight me-Alright, I'm not gonna get between you and food." Syn replied, then hastily reconsidered. "We'll share, but we're ordering double. Triple if you're actually hungry."

"Deal."

Keris glared at Richard for a second, then, with a 'Hmph!", she turned her attention from him and took a step closer to Johnathan.

"Pleased to make your acquaintance," she said with a curt nod as the banter between the other crew members started up behind her.

Now that they were off the Realm she had a better view of the docking area. Her eyes flicked from side to side, taking in the size and types of the other ships and the number of personnel going about their jobs between them. There was probably no reason to expect any kind of danger here but as the Realm's new security officer she considered it her duty to allow for all possibilities. She scrutinised Johnathan too, as soon as his attention was no longer directly on her.

"Meh, if you didn't have to work to keep our oxygen working every three weeks I'm pretty sure you'd have strangled me from sheer boredom. But, I suppose as a demonstration... Hey Jack, you mind lending me a twenty?"

"Essentially no one carries Cash on them since you were still on Earth, there isn't any money for you to have your face on, if that was your thought. And it's Johnathan, pleasure to meet you all. Are there any pressing questions before I lead you up top?"

Shaina unceremoniously spun Richard around and dropped him onto her shoulders. "Yes! Where is the beach?"

"I desire nothing more than imbibe and I am to understand there are locations supporting such," Cassius chipped in.

"Actually," M said, "Family aside I am still somewhat confused as to why such a high corporate figure is giving us a tour of an amusement park."

The group passed through the gaping entrance to a very wide ramp as Johnathan heaved a tiny little sigh. "Fair enough. The Beach you'll spot very easily very early on as we take a tram around the dome. If you want to leave for it, then by all means be my guest after I've gone through the formalities. Alcohol you'll find...almost anywhere you want, topside. And as for the last question: there is much much more here than just an amusement park. We have repair and cargo distribution and revaluation stations, as you've seen a glimpse of here. We have a significant shopping hub for this quadrant, and in fact, the effective company headquarters are operating from here at the moment."

M gave Richard a mildly amused look as he responded. "Your intergalactic scale super company operates out of an amusement park satellite station?"

"Satellite LMA-04-AX02 was retired as a military installation and since then has been most widely identified by the park, Lethainland, mostly because of its unique establishment and the fact that it was the first thing here to put the satellite back on the map, but in reality in only occupies about 18% of the station's usable area. It is a multi-use satellite."

The group reached the top of the ramp, where a New York Grand Central sort of hustle and bustle was going on amongst multiple lift stations of widely varying sizes, shapes and occupancy. Jonathan led the group, weaving between other groups and large cargo containers on hover lifts to a middling sized lift on the far side that looked like it would just fit all of them if they left the armed escort behind. There was nobody waiting around it.

"This lift," Johnathan explained as he waved a hand across the door to open it, "will take us up and around a track embedded in the top encompassing the top of the satellite. You'll be able to see everything. Since everyone seems eager to be on their way, this seems like it would be the fastest way to get the tour done."

"Very Glass Elevator, Mr Wonka," Shaina remarked, being the first one to step in to the dimly lit lift.

"Please," Johnathan replied, following her in. "I don't dress that badly."

"I hear the family resemblance, Richard."

Syn couldn't help but snort a little at mention of 'Lethainland'. He didn't even try to hide it.

"Cassius asked my question already, so I'll go one further and ask where the best place to imbibe would be?" He asked, stepping into the lift behind the others. Raine tailed along behind him, wondering if she should ask something herself. Syn's PAD gave a short blip, and he looked down at it for a moment with feigned disinterest.

We need to procure some more equipment for the crew at some point in the near future, would you mind trying to get a location on suitable vendors, if you get a chance?
-Caulder

He nodded to himself, then turned his attention back to the area around him. Lots of things to take pictures of, after all. Raine, stood just behind him, couldn't help reading the message. She decided not to call him out on it, but seeing Caulder's name pop up made just a little of her earlier anger pop up again.

"Actually, I'd quite like to go somewhere I can just punch something for a while. Do you have any.. training facilities? Preferably one with a very durable punching bag."

"Hm, a little sparring might be fun." Syn muttered quietly, distinctly paying attention to something in distance.

Keris let the others overtake her as they entered the lift and spent a few seconds observing the crowds around the others. They all seemed to be humanoid and many were clearly here for leisure purposes - dressed in multifarious styles of what appeared to be casual clothing and milling around, chatting to companions, laughing, and clearly in no hurry, as well as shoppers returning to their transports with bags or antigrav trolleys piled with purchases. But amongst the tourists were personnel in Lethain Corporation uniforms, a cluster of smartly dressed people being led towards a smaller elevator off to one side (here for a business meeting of some kind, most likely, Keris assumed), dock workers loading crates on to a large cargo elevator as their foreman spoke to an unseen contact on his communicator, and numerous others who were apparently here to work rather than play. A newly arrived lift opened its doors and spilled a small party of young men, clearly the worse for alcohol and singing raucously, out on to the concourse, which garnered dirty looks from those waiting to enter it. It triggered a question in Keris' mind and she reached into a pocket of her jacket and pulled out her datapad. After glancing at it briefly she shook her head and followed the others in.

"Out of curiosity, Mr. Ralethain, what time of day is it here? My pad hasn't synced itself to the station's chronometer. It might have a bearing on how I decide to spend my time here - once the formalities are over, of course, as you've already stated."

The doors closed behind the last entrant as Johnathan pulled a comm device from inside his dark gray coat with the blue trim and looked at a tiny personal holographic interface that activated with a click. "It is 9:04 station time." There was a very subtly perceptible sensation of upwards movement as the lift smoothly transitioned into action. Despite the barely detectable sensation, their very rapid movement was abundantly evident from the speed at which the exterior--apparently the lift had clear sides, deceiving them at first by being in an entirely enclosed chute--was blurring past. Cassius put a shaky hand to the side to steady himself against the disorientation, recoiling slightly at first at the irrational thought flitting through is brain of his hand being torn off by touching the wall that was rushing by so quickly. The corner of Johnathan's mouth twitched up slightly. Shaina opened her mouth to interrupt the awkward silence that was beginning to form but was cut off.

"Ladies and gentleman this is LethainLand, as they call it." The lift erupted from the enclosed chute into bright light, apparently following a thin line track inset to a huge translucent dome that encompassed a gargantuan area below that they were now looking down upon. "If you look immediately below us you can see the primary commercial district. Malls, theatres, cinemas, holos, restaurants, etc." M looked at the indicated location while Shaina seemed to ignore it completely in favour of staring at the track they were following inset into the dome, following its curve until her eyes met the looming star around which the station orbited, its surface made gazable upon by a combination of the translucency of the dome and a haze of enclosed atmosphere, which thinned as they continued climbing to the top of the dome. Cassius meanwhile put a fist to his clamped shut mouth as the ground seemed to turn gradually more and more vertical as they followed the curve. "On the far end, where we will end, is the amusement park proper, with various lodgings in the centre of the station. Transport between the park district, primary commercial district, lodgings and so forth is facilitated by a monotram, which travels through five biological park zones. One of those is the beach--Falter's Cove--but there's also a mountain zone with many hiking trails, temperate climate, equatorial tropical jungle zone, arctic/alpine hills. Under the temperate and tropical zones there is also caving to be had."

"I'd be surprised if this station is even half and AU out in orbit; how are you compensating?" Shaina interjected into the tour, still absorbed by the dome structure." M turned his attention likewise, while Cassius swallowed hard and tried to keep the contents of his stomach down, fixing his gaze on the not-transparent floor of the lift to the exclusion of all else.

"Multilayer transparent aluminium based alloy. Beneath the initial, primarily reflective layer, each layer is polarised to refract broad spectrum reception into EM channels."

"Okay," Shaina was visibly impressed for a split second at Johnathan's seamless dive into tech-speak, "that's very cool."

"Very. Powers the entire station. Now, you'll notice as we begin our descent..." Johnathan paused as the lift rotated at the peak of the dome, the ground now completely perpendicular to their own, so that their feet would be "down" when they reached the end. "The events district, featuring various arenas, stadiums, and our own Colosseum."

M kept the pale-looking Cassius in the corner of his eye. "Looks like a great deal of activity around the largest structure there."

"The Colosseum."

"Yes; there's an event now?"

"Yes, actually. It's a limited access event but I don't think any of you would be denied. A combat tournament. It was organised very quickly, very recently, so I imagine there are still many people being screened for participation. Not sure how many they'll be turning away. Will depend on the average power level they're shooting for."

Timothy took everything in with an almost unchanging expression; he did not lack curiosity, but appeared to be rather preoccupied with something else, though he did not say anything if he were. Cassius was looking unwell without, it seemed, much reason, and it was somewhat surprising that he did not use his own magic-like abilities to remedy that. There was apparently some kind of fighting tournament, but that was not of much interest, though the beach might be nice, and far less-unrestful than more fighting after the last bout of involuntary fighting had just ended.

"A Colosseum?" Raine mumbled, looking down on the large structure. "That sounds like fun."

"I think I should be more interested in seeing this 'Falter's Cove', honestly." Said Syn, snapping away. "One part of the timeline I never got to see, would be nice to finally get that last stamp on my travel card."

"Why is it that I find it both really hard and really easy to picture you strutting about on a beach?" Raine asked, genuinely puzzled, "If we can join this event of theirs, we should do that. I'd like to knock you about a little after all that nonsense back on the Ship."

"Hmmm, maybe. Depends on the prize, and the competition." The only thing he relished less than trying to out-drink a Tyran was trying to beat one down in a relatively fair fight. Bad plan overall, but might be worth it, he considered.

The lift began to slow as neared the ground on the far side of the station, amidst the amusement park area of the station.

"Honestly I don't know what prize they're offering. In any case, I suppose this brings our much abbreviated tour to an end. We're exiting to LethainLand proper, but only a stone's throw from a monotram station if you'd like to head somewhere else." Johnathan looked at Cassius, who was slowly edging his way to the door. "You really don't look so good. Claustrophobic? Vertigo?" Cassius shook his head and swallowed before taking a few deep, staggered breaths.

"I think he's just a little far out of his element," M commented. "I can say with some confidence they probably didn't have anything like this on his planet."

"I see," Johnathan remarked, as the lift stopped and the doors opened, letting Cassius spill out and dart to a nearby trash can and vomit. "I think...it might be a good idea if I arrange for somewhere for you all to stay." As Johnathan himself exited the lift, a nondescript man who had to have been waiting for them approached with several small, circular devices that fit in a person's palm like the one Johnathan had checked the time on earlier. Johnathan accepted them with a thank you and began passing them out to the Realm crew. "Some comm units, courtesy the company. After hearing about the downright primitive methods of exchange you've been using aboard the ship from Shepherd I took the liberty. My information is already in your contacts if you need to reach me. So are all the other units, if you'd like to enter your names so that people know who they're contacting. Just use the interface here," he demonstrated by activating the holographic interface with a button click from pinching the unit between two fingers. "I will catch up with you all this evening I imagine, in the Hub area lodgings where I'll have rooms for you under your own names."

M accepted his comm unit with a smile and a thanks as he looked around the park area. It was decently populated, though not crowded, which he found somewhat comforting. It wasn't like anything he had experienced before, but everyone else seemed comfortable enough with the setting.

"Oh my gaaaaawd!" Shaina squealed from the side, pointing. The group followed her finger to a large, cartoony mascot with familiar looking red hair. "It's a Richard mascot!"

"Hm, useful." Syn took on of the communicators and pocketed it. "Thanks." He stepped back and had been about to mention going for a wander about the monotram network, if anyone fancied joining him, when Shaina's outburst entirely stole his attention.

"Well now, ain't that somethin'." He muttered, immediately raising his camera. Raine was trying to decide whether she found the mascot cute, weird, or just plain funny. She couldn't settle on one in the end, so she instead took a moment to take a communicator for herself, and feigned playing with it.

Timothy nodded rather absently and took a communicator, which, after verifying that it worked as he was told it would, he placed into one of his pockets, without seeming to think terribly much of it, likely because his mind was still occupied with whatever occupied it before; occupied or no, however, he could not help but smile a little at the cartoon Richard, which felt far more familiar to him than did most anything else he had seen since his coming to this brave new world, which had such people in it.

Keris took her comm unit with a clipped "Thank you" and entered her name as instructed, then tested it by setting up a call to one of the other communicators at random. Seeing that a connection had indeed been made, she shut it down again and pocketed it before whoever was now in possession of it answered. A moment later there was a squawk from Shaina. Keris looked in the direction she was pointing and facepalmed.

"Oh no," she groaned. "That's all we need. One thing he definitely doesn't require is another boost to his ego."

"Actually I think he's a little short." Richard replied from his perch atop Shaina. "So where do I need to go to sign these documents?" he asked Johnathan.

"We should be able to have them sent to the presidential Mansion." replied Johnathan.

"And the current tenant? I don't feel like being punted out of a space elevator again."

"The president is currently preoccupied with other matters. And I think we can both agree that Richard the Nineteenth's response to your return was a rather gross over reaction. Most people just assume the story to be hyperbole used to villainize him by his later detractors."

"Yeah, it probably doesn't help that he grew that ridiculous twirly Moustache. I suppose I'll be on my way." The small man said, jumping off Shaina and walking away. "You kids have fun!"

Timothy almost smiled when he caught sight of the Richard mascot, but then, something else caught his attention, something far in the distance, which he was not certain he saw: For an instant, he thought he made out one of his own, but in another, it was gone, and without so much as a trace of anything like magic. What would one of his own kind be doing on a station like this, anyway? Surely, there was no way through; the gate must have collapsed. And besides, if there really were others like him aboard the station, surely the Lethains would have said so; they were odd as far as ruling families went, he supposed, but seem to be decent sorts of people. Well, decent until they started punting their patriarch out of space elevators, anyway.

I must be imagining things, he thought to himself; I really should simply relax a while; I think this whole thing has left me instinctively on edge. He tried to remember everything through which he had just been, but some of it felt remarkably hazy, which was very unlike what he had expected. He scanned the crowd again to see if he could make out that same figure he had seen before, but there were none quite like it. There were many other interesting things to see, however, and he could only wonder what some of them were...

"Never forget me Richard Lethain! Or your moooneeey!" Shaina cried with an exaggerated out-stretched arm in the direction of the departing munchkin. She aburptly stopped and spun on her heel to face the others with a dismissive and self-pleased expression. "And now I'm off to find the nearest monotram station. Every minute I spend here is one less minute, " she glanced at Syn, who seemed unfortunately distracted, "I'm lying mostly naked on a beach." She sniffed. "Shaina Girl--Awaaaaay!" The Time Lady swung her arm around to imaginarily cloak herself and dashed off to...somewhere.

M acknowledged with a nod and a smile as he finished sending Wraith a text message on the new comm unit. "Sounds good to me." He fiddled with the comm unit a bit more until he managed to access a park map, ignoring the ads for shows and products until he found a location directory. "Looks like there's only one bar proper actually in the park. Located in a Mafia themed section and called...'A Seedy Bar'? A reference I don't get clearly." The Nebari looked at the group, settling on Keris. "Shall we, Subcommander?" He looked in turn to Cassius. "And are you all right, Cassius?"

The elf was still rather pale, leaning beside a trashcan. "It will not take little time...to pass. Thank you."

"Will you find your way to the lodgements?"

"Little purpose in pursuing that," Cassius replied, straightening up and smoothing the creases in his clothes. "if Johnathan has not had the opportunity to arrange quarters designated specifically to our use." He slicked back his hair again, attempting to look more proper. "I shall follow you for the present time."

All at once, Timothy looked up and saw a bright light, or at least imagined he did — it was really a hallucination — and then grew dizzy, and, quite suddenly, all went blank. In a moment, all several hundred pounds of him had hit the ground, and he appeared to be unconscious. One of the Lethain personnel called for medical assistance, and was told it was on its way.

"By the tree," Cassius exclaimed with disdain as a few hundred pounds of hair and muscle clipped him on its way down, shoving him into a souvenir stand.

M dashed over promptly as the employee working the stand called for medical assistance, putting his hand to Timothy's neck. "Cassius, assessment."

The elf's brow furrowed. "The only assessment I can and do have for this is merely that I am not aiding in his return transport to the ship."

M looked up to affix a stony gaze on Cassius. "You accepted a duty and you will do it."

"What would you have me do? I conducted what examinations I could aboard the ship only to find his anatomy and internal process are about as clear to me as a lead-lined letter, black ink on black sheet, lost in space would be to you. Needless to say I,in the least, have the decency to inform you when I am not well."

"Keris, help me set him up," M directed, brushing off Cassius's unhelpfulness. Cassius sighed.

"No, do not. 'Belay that.'" The elf stepped over and knelt besides the felled goliath. "If it is that medical assistance should arrive promptly," he eyed the employee nearby, who nodded eagerly, "then have him kept in a horizontal posture, insure no limbs are pinned beneath his weight," Cassius lugged an arm out from under Timothy's side with a grunt, rolling the man onto his back. "If you any desire to be of genuine aid you will make certain he isn't trampled," Cassius said, indicating M and Keris. M nodded, looking around again. It wasn't likely to be a difficult task. There weren't that many people near the lift that was probably rarely used for anything but VIPs in the extreme corner of the park, and what few there were stared from a respectable distance or had simply already left.

Keris came over despite Cassius' 'belay that' and watched impassively as he rearranged his patient, then wordlessly rolled him on to his side and positioned a hand and a knee to keep him stable. Finally she tilted his head back a little and quickly checked his breathing.

"Stops him choking on his tongue," she explained as she stood up. "You may know all the science but I have to be able to give first aid in the field in my line of work. Now we make sure he isn't trampled."

She turned to M. "So much for that visit to the 'Seedy Bar'. And very odd. Our magic healer starts throwing up and now the giant suddenly collapses. I hope this isn't indicative of some pathogen in the air."

She pulled out her tricorder and performed a quick scan. "There's nothing around here that should be seriously harmful to Vulcanoids, humans or Klingons at least. I don't have a full set of medical data for other species and this isn't a medical tricorder anyway, but there doesn't seem to be anything to worry about."
