Timothy grimaced watching Raine and Dasah fall through the Floor, and in another Second made a very powerful Gust which blew Syn out of the Way of what looked to be a very cold Shot of something. Then he took the Tablet from his Pocket and made a Magic which typed in 'Can you take over the Device Raine is fighting, or at least damage its Working?'

He was not certain he wished to approach the Chasm, but he heard something which sounded very like the Monstrosity causing Harm to Raine, so he got to it as quickly as he could and caught Sight of the two locked in Combat directly.

Syn managed to regain his wits in time to see Raine hit Dasah like a hammer to an anvil, with something of a similar result- he couldn't help wincing as he near felt the impact that would have on Raine's body. Stupid girl, he thought, though he was worrying less than he probably should have. Timothy's healing was helping his optimism noticeably, that was, until Dasah's blast hit. First the ceiling...floor, whatever, gave out around the two, and then Syn saw Dasah's arm aim at him again. At least this time he was able to react, if only out of panic. He created an explosion immediately to his left, using a lot of the heat within his own body to blow himself away from where he had been. It seemed as though someone else had a similar intent, as a gust of wind hit him from Timothy's direction and carried him further.. When he landed, he couldn't breath, which was bad for him. He couldn't get up, and he couldn't feel his left leg, another bad thing, in his experience.

Forcing himself to look down despite the panic, he saw only a blackened stump where his knee should be, and the small part of him that could still think rationally decided that that would definitely hurt later, though if it weren't for Timothy then he may have received a far worse injury. For now, his only thought was to try and recover. He needed heat, fire, something to draw energy from.

Raine, meanwhile, was enjoying herself. Pain was an abstract concept for Tyrans, especially those designed for combat. Pain didn't distract or discomfort them, it merely informed them that something was broken, and the best thing about being a Tyran is that broken parts can be fixed. Rayne was good at fixing herself. She proved this even as she tore at Dasah with claws that could rend tanks with ease and psy-charged blades that had never met a material they couldn't shear as easily as cardboard. Where lesser, natural beings would crumble and falter, she adapted. Even as the carapace Dasah gripped grew brittle and cracked away, it was replaced with a slimmer, smoother substance, almost crystalline in nature, one that seemed far better suited to the intense cold.

Content to fall as far as need be, Raine simply gripped onto Dasah with everything she had, even going so far as to produce a number of rows of barbed hooks from her armoured chest from the same armour-piercing material as her claws and launch them at the giant's body with enough force to puncture a man, if only with the intent of entangling him with her that she might tear at him further. She lashed and stabbed at him with her tail-sting, and the viscous acid dripped and sputtered from every cut in her exoskeleton and every wound she had sustained from hitting him and caving through the floor.

When Timothy saw what was become of Syn, he quickly drew his Pistol and infused it with Magic, and then fired it as quickly as he could. When the Bullets touched him, they did no harm, but rather mended his Wounds, and brought with them rather a lot of Air because he looked as though he had been choking; though he could not regrow an entire Leg from so far off, Timothy thought the Magic like to be good enough to get him out of any Pain.

One was till mildly outraged at being pocketed, or at least, she was negatively inclined. She didn't actually have access to a personality subroutine that allowed for outrage in her current lessened condition. Snarkiness yes, obscure cultural references yes, but outrage no. Clearly somebody had had priorities during her fabrication.

"I can't. But I can do this."

The gravity flip-flopped again, dropping everyone to floor!floor once more. Well, except One and Timothy themselves, who were apparently magnetised to the ceiling now.

=-=-=-=-=

Raine...rained down blows on Dasah, who had stopped laughing abruptly and returned to embittered rage. It focused him.

He was lucky this time. After the earlier acid incident he had adapted the structure of his vibranium matrix exoskeleton to counteract such happening again. And the big dumb brute didn't seem to recognise that every rake of claw and pound of fist or tail or cranium was only being met with a stronger and stronger crushing grip from Dasah.

Still, the prey was slippery, in spite of the grip. His hand pulverised the new crystalline structure and Raine would slide out of his grasp.

"Enough!"

Dasah felt the switch of the gravity again, and dropped floor, using the opportunity to loose himself from Raine's grasp, and then, as near as he could but still down quite a long corridor, detached an exterior bulkhead without sealing the now open area. The vacuum of space was suddenly sucking greedily at the corridor.

Timothy thought very hard a Moment, and then leapt from the ceiling and ran upside-down upon Air itself in such a Way as righted him and then got him to the Floor, at which Time he removed the magnetic Charge from his Boots.

Then he felt the Air being sucked out of the Room; he quickly sent the Bell he had been carrying to Raine, which rang and spirited her away from the Monstrosity, and then he sealed the gaping Hole with a magic Wall, though he was quite certain the Monstrosity would simply break another Hole in another Part of the Floor before long, though it might waste some Time on the Barrier, or so he hoped.

Then he looked at the Tablet again and input 'how do we stop the Ship exploding itself?'

"Ha, yeah, I knew you'd ask that... Basically, you manage to leave the immediate area without Dasah--that's his name by the way according to these Drome records. Dromes--those are the lizard people. You manage to leave the immediate area without Dasah noticing you, then you manage to get to the bridge through a ship which I think is rearranging some internal corridors to deal with a rather significant amount of damage being inflicted to a core area, and then you input the correct authorisation code and provide an eligible physical determiner of identification. Or you could do those same things from Engineering or the Main Deck or the Captain's Quarters or the Main Fuel Repository. See the ship expects that only a crew member to initiate a self destruct and if they're going to that extreme then it must be for a reason that can't be solved any other way, so it's not the easiest thing to disengage.

"I believe Dasah has noticed your force fields."

Down the hall from the gaping hole in the Armoury not far behind where Timothy still stood, Dasah launched himself like a hammer at Raine, knocking them both into a tumbling roll from which he latched onto her tail and spun her around, launching her considerable bulk in a straight line down the corridor at Timothy, making certain that reaching a surface and slowing her trajectory was a difficult feat indeed for her.

Timothy stepped backwards and, in an Instant, waved his Hand at Dasah, who slowed to a Stop, quite frozen in Time, and slowed Raine's Descend so she came just short of colliding with him. He gave her what Magic he could muster to mend her Wounds, and then gestured towards Syn and typed to One 'the Magic freezing that Dasah Thing will last five Minutes at most, and probably only four; show me the best Way of getting very far away from it, very quickly, or breaking its seemingly-impenatrable Hull, or I'm going to have to take us all off God-knows-whither, which may not be very nice at all.'

Syn was able to calm himself once Timothy's bullets somehow began healing him, and the new blast of fresh air that washed over him did wonders for his mental state. He felt more capable, and, taking an exceedingly deep breath, created an intense, localised flash-fire that engulfed his entire left leg for a few seconds. When it was done, his leg was whole again, and he grimaced at the amount of energy he had had to expend to do just that. At least Timothy's healing magic helped a good deal.

Raine, meanwhile slid back from Dasah's grasp, and, as she was about to lunge forwards again with her boneswords aimed for his chest, the gravity flipped again, sending her tumbling to the floor. Syn enacted a similar drop, though he managed to catch himself this time, being careful to keep from landing on his newly reformed leg. And then the bulkhead detached.

Raine didn't so much as react to this, in fact, she barely noticed. She growled in anger as she tried to stand, only to be pulled away by something. She was confused when she looked around herself to find the armoury walls surrounding her again, but at least it gave her some time to catch up to herself. She forced herself to calm down and think rationally. She decided to aim for Dasah's arms, if she could either remove or at least restrain those, then the others would have a better chance, she thought. She was just able to reach this conclusion before she became aware of Dasah moving towards her very quickly. If it hadn't been for her enhanced reflexes, she would have been taken completely unaware by his attack, though as it was she was able to brace herself somewhat before he hit. She tried to stand her ground, but when his massive bulk wouldn't stop she had little choice other than to try and roll with it and try to strike at the sides of his arms as she could, clawed arms grappling and boneswords cutting through whatever they could. Then he threw her.

Syn, meanwhile, did not appreciate a sudden and increasingly apparent drop in oxygen levels. He quickly found himself unable to stand as his body flickered and shrank, if only slightly. It became a struggle to maintain his physical form, and so when Timothy sealed off the vacuum, he was very grateful, but still unable to move.

If there were two things Raine didn't like, aside from being beaten half-to-death by some biomachine demigod, they were being picked up, and having her tail touched. She knew that such things were beyond avoiding in most combat situations, but still, this infuriated her again. Even as she flew towards Timothy she produced row upon row of barbed hooks from beneath the plates of her natural armour and launched them outwards like grapnels in every direction but ahead of her. With these she had been able to slow her flight more than enough to avoid hitting Timothy, though his magic certainly helped as well, she brought herself to a sliding stop a good few feet in front of him and decided that it would be a good idea to change things up a little.

Raine spun to face Dasah again, though as she did her arms on each side slammed into each other, the carapace quickly growing soft and merging, the boneswords folding back and her clawed hands growing as mass was quickly redistributed and re-purposed. In mere moments she had merged her four arms into two, each colossal in size, sporting a taloned claw on each big enough to wrap around Dasah's arms with ease, and the boneswords rearranged to lay back against her forearms from her wrist, like in-built tonfa that extended well past her elbows. She flattened down her carapace plates, attempting to streamline her form without compromising defence, and roared her challenge again as the last of the grapnel hooks were reabsorbed into her. She had reinforced the muscular mass all over her arms, after having tested her previous attacks against him, she was confident that where she could only claw at him previously, now she could deal some serious damage.

And then Dasah froze.

Raine wasn't sure what to make of this. A trap, maybe? That didn't seem likely. She looked back at Timothy in time to hear the PAD translate for him, and then looked at Dasah again.

"What happens if I rip him in half?" She asked, her voice heavily distorted and vicious.

"I would advise.. a hasty retreat..." Syn called from further out in the corridor, still struggling for breath even as oxygen returned to the area. He had managed to push himself up to his feet, but was only able to remain standing with the aid of the nearby wall. "We need to stop the ship from exploding first, then we can deal with happyfeet here."

"I've resealed the exterior bulkhead." One reported. "I don't think you need to maintain your psychic-field thing any longer."

The entire ship shuddered.

"Also the Ehni has just...well, not 'docked' exactly, but they're here."

=-=-=-=-=

Dasah blinked. Or, you know, metaphorically blinked. He didn't have eyes.

He was slightly confused as to what had just happened. The Fireman had instantaneously changed locations, and the monster and large human had abruptly changed positions, and looked somewhat more collected. Notably, the human had his arms at his side and ready again, though it had never moved. Immediately, his internal chronographs relayed a discontinuity compared to the Realm's.

Time muckery.

But whatever there plan in that regard, it had apparently failed. Not wasting any time, Dasah ducked and launched himself again, this time at Timothy, who had to have been the one behind the time manipulation. Luckily, he wasn't a huge hulking monster. He was just a large, musclebound brute with an ugly hat and coat.

He came down on the human like a cannonball launched from pointblank range, and felt satisfying crunches against his metal frame as the human crumpled like, well, a human body facing a cannonball at pointblank range. That done, he finished out his momentum with a roll, which he directed in a round arc and sprang up behind Raine again. The surprise from their expecting him to still be incapacitated was evident, and Dasah managed to grab hold of Raine's tail again, this time repeating an old favourite. He swung her around and started beating her against the floor, side to side.

Raine, unfortunately, was unable to react in time to help Timothy. She had moved to try and intercept Dasah, but she was just too far away, and all she managed was to put herself perfectly within range of the giant's rolling grapple.

On the upside, she had at least been prepared for something like this; the moment Dasah attempted to lift her by her tail, it detached like that of a lizard's, something she had prepared while modifying her arms. Allowing her to react for more violently to Dasah's attempt than he would have expected her to, in that she rounded on him near-instantly, and delivered a punishing right-cross to the Apostle's mid-section, her muscles bulging out with the sudden motion, and the floor buckling under the stress of her entire body's considerable bulk being put behind one punch.

The downside to this would something that she hadn't thought about in making her tail detachable, in that her body was still secreting the potent acid that spilled out as she was wounded, and the large spray that erupted from both her removed tail and the stump it left behind would probably prove quite damage to everything around the pair of them. The floor, walls, and Timothy included.

Syn, from the other side of the corridor beyond the armoury, watched in horror, still barely able to move.

Timothy hacked Blood when he tried to get himself up; he was in rather a great Deal of Pain, and had not expected the Monstrosity to have its Time restored to it so quickly. Something was amiss — he could feel Time itself being contracted in a peculiar Fashion which he did not like at all. He could not stand, and could hardly move. Had he been an ordinary Human, the Shock alone would have killed him. His first Thought was to mend himself, which he did directly. He gritted his Teeth in Discomfort, but the Effect took.

He did not stand, or appear to move at all. Best for the Thing to think him dead and occupy itself with something else.

Then, when Dasah had his Hands round Raine’s Tail, he very quickly seized a stray Chunk of Metal, filled it with as much electromagnetic Force as he could, which was quite enough to do very severe Damage to even a very sophisticated System, and hotter than the Surface of the nearest Star, and then he spread a Liquid over it. Less than a millisecond after, it had reappeared at Dasah’s very core. The Lightning then let its massive Heat and Force loose on his Inside.

Then he saw Raine’s Acid spilling out all over the Place, and so grabbed the Contents of his Pockets and then Syn, then shrank as quickly as possible and disappeared beneath his Coat. The Acid reached it a few Seconds later, and soon it was gone. They reappeared elsewhere three-tenths of a Second later. Timothy looked pale and winded, but was otherwise quite intact, though his Mending Magic was not well-practised, and he ached all over.

Dasah took the hit square and unphased, though he laughed again at the monster's pure stupidity. But then he staggered as something went...
wrong.

His legs failed and arms lost their grip as he screamed and turned them to claw at his body. His mind flickered in animal panic for a moment as he felt his insides burning. He regained a measure of composure as some of the burning systems reactivated in minimalist capacity from their backups inside his layered exoskeleton, but he had to act.

Dasah teleported blindly in the direction of the largest empty space he knew of on the ship--doing so as selectively as he could so that although most of him teleported, a burned out portion of his cybernetic guts and something hard and hot dropped to the floor where he was a moment ago.

Raine had been just about to throw another punch as a number of things happened at the same time. First Tim did something from the floor, which made Dasah go nuts, to the point where Raine actually backed up a couple of steps, and then Tim grabbed Syn and the two disappeared, though Tim left his coat behind only to have it ruined by her acid.

Immediately Raine's thoughts went to One.

Uh-oh...did he get her out of his coat before he did that? She hadn't seen. She couldn't think about it clearly enough...had she just...killed...that AI from earlier?

While she was worrying over this, Dasah disappeared. Then, out of nowhere, a man stepped out of the wall in front of her.

Overall, Raine was more than a little dumbfounded.

"...Raine?" the man asked, then he looked about him. "Don't tell me it was you causing all this trouble?" said, gesturing at the walls and floor, and the bit of molten machinery on the floor.

"What? No! That machine-thing, Dasah was right here and.. Wraith? What are you doing-"

"Dasah? The..right, I see." Wraith cut her off as though she weren't a ten-foot-tall ragebeast. "...any idea where he went?" He asked, deciding to leave out all of the unnecessary details.

"..I guess?" Raine replied, still dumbfounded. "I mean, yes, we do!" She added, growling somewhat under her breath.

"Alright, any idea where he went?" Wraith asked, drawing his sword.

"Uhm...one moment." Raine stood up to her full height and looked about as though she were tasting the air, her various sensory apparatus searching a multitude of possible things in order to determine her prey's location. After a moment she grunted and looked down again. "I think he went for the hangars..probably the main one." she grunted again as the rest of her senses confirmed it. "Yes, definitely the main one."

Wraith concentrated for a moment and nodded in agreement.

"Alright, this way then." He turned and waved at the wall behind them, causing a portal to open up from the shadows of the ceiling. "We'll go straight there."

"Okay." Raine nodded and stooped to step into the portal. Wraith followed, and the blackness closed up behind them.

[From the Main Deck]

Caulder drifted out of the Warp, appearing in the middle of the library, along with the pile of scavenged Dromeanthrope weapons.

"...That was thankfully uneventful." Caulder said lowly, no point in speaking up when there appeared to be nobody else in the room. His jump had been entirely free of disturbances, it was actually somewhat strange that nothing at all had happened the entire time he had been around this ship, he was beginning to think that perhaps the Realm was acting as a beacon or transmitter of sorts, projecting a field of reinforced 'real-space' around it, the same way his suit did to protect him while he travelled. It would make some level of sense, but for now all he had was his suspicions.

Caulder took stock of the room around him, it was something of a mess, and he lacked the tools and resources to fix up the majority of the damage. He decided that this could wait until the armoury itself was more necessary a component of the ship, most of the weapons here were not in particularly good shape, if they were functional at all. It would take time, but the Realm would see itself repaired before long, he was certain. He found an empty railing on which to store the new weapons. Well, mostly empty, there were some old rifles on it already, but these were old, rusted, and not only could he not detect any ammunition within them (which made sense as storing primed weapons was nothing short of folly), but he could not find any viable ammunition for them anywhere in the armoury. Perhaps scrap, he thought, moving them to another section of the wall where there was space to store them less carefully. He then had to straighten out the railing from some damage it had sustained a long time past, though this didn't take long, and he was carefully stacking the dromean weapons against the wall in no time at all.

It had taken longer than he'd thought, but Caulder finally finished stowing the weapons. Granted most of that was his own decision to line things up neatly, and after that check the status of each individual weapon properly. He had also decided to make a detailed inventory on his own internal systems of what the armoury contained, and had his scanners compile a number of lists while he worked. It would do to know what he had access to at all times, he figured, reviewing the information quickly; it wasn't promising. He remembered the sheer capacity for destruction that this room had once possessed, and the paltry wrecks that it now contained were a poor compromise at best.

Resolving to restock the armoury as soon as he was able, Caulder stepped back from the weapons racks and began charging for another short jump. He figured that it was about time that he returned to the main deck and caught up on the current state of the fuel problem.

"So this here is, well, it was, at least, the Armoury. Use to be the pride of the ship, the collection here." Syn kind've-bragged as he shifted the heavily damaged door a little more, so that it was out of the way of the adjoining corridor entirely. The ship helped, he figured, as he'd never have been able to have moved it on his own, at least not in the state he was in. "Currently...I think we've got some scrap metal, a lot of empty ammo clips, and a practically dead gynoid. Not much that's functional."

"Nothing in the way of presently dangerous munitions then?" Gabren asked, stepping ahead, into the centre of the room while his troops fanned out around him in a well-organised manner that Syn actually found rather strange, given the Corporal's mannerisms.

"Not anymore." He answered, joining the Corporal in the middle. "Back in the day there was everything from personal mass projectors to ion convergence rifles, even a set of mono-filament knives, as I recall. Might wanna be careful if those are still around." He looked about the walls as the soldiers began their scans. "Oh!" He added, noticing Caulder's earlier additions to the racks. "Those there, those we recovered from the liza- uh, Dromeanthropes. There were a lot more that didn't survive, but these are pretty sturdy models. I must admit that I'm not fully aware of the legislation regarding alien-reptilian-spec-ops-death-rays, so I'll leave it up to you guys as to whether we get to keep those."

Gabren waved for two of his soldiers to step forward and begin their scans of the weaponry, who, after a moment or two, both came back to him with scanners in hand to show their results. Gabren nodded to them, then sent them off to continue their work.

"They're very high-end, good tech. I think you'll be fine keeping them, given who you're travelling with." He nodded again, "Yeah, no problems here it seems. Those knives you mentioned don't seem to be showing up either."

"A pity." Syn sighed, he was hoping to get those back to Wraith at some point. No matter though, the old ninja probably had more. "Actually, while you're scanning, anything else of interest that we should know about in here? We haven't had the chance to do much more than a little shuffle through the debris."

"Well-"

"Calling Doctor Howard, Doctor Fine, Doctor Howard. Please Report to Surgery."

"..." Gabren looked thoroughly confused for a moment. Syn stepped in.

"I would call that temporally obscure reference number...three....maybe four today, there should be an explanation coming in a moment."

"So... For that Metaphor, Emeris is Doctor Howard, Keris is Doctor Fine, and Shaina is Doctor Howard. And Surgery is the Bridge. So... basically, could you three come to the bridge? Actually, everyone not keeping the ship from blowing up could probably come. Thank you."

"Right, well, that would be me as well then. If anything I'm the one aboard most likely to contribute to the ship blowing up." Syn turned on his heel and headed for the door. "You guys have fun, I trust that you don't need me to hold yours hands for the rest of your search, I was following you guys up 'till now anywho. Oh! And could you please give a copy of this room's report to...ah...miss brunette over there. If you manage to make it to the engine room or engineering, give that one to Blondie. I'd really like to see what you guys dig up, and I'm sure they'll see that it gets to me later." He gave half a smile to each of the soldiers in question, then ducked out of the room before the effects could be observed. He was certain that nothing would come of such blatancy, but that didn't stop it being fun."

[From The Bridge, via Medical Bay]

Keris called in briefly at the medical bay to see how her search team was getting on. In fact, most of them had disappeared. Corporal Simango informed her that the main area had been given the all-clear and he had sent his men to do a check of those rooms not yet visited along the corridor outside. The store room, however, was offering more of a challenge. Many of the substances in the inventory were not even listed in their own database and Keris herself was no wiser than they were. All she could suggest was that they compile a list of the items they couldn't verify and, if they were really suspicious about them, take some samples for analysis - so long as those samples were small and any unused parts were returned if they passed muster.

Her next port of call was the armory. She had analysed Caulder's inventory but she had never visited the room in person and the ship's cmputer was unable to bring up a current interior view on her datapad. If she was going to be in charge of security she wanted to be sure she was completely familiar with all significant areas and the best way to do that was to go and see for herself. Other as yet unvisited areas would follow as soon as time allowed. As she entered, it was immediately obvious why there had been no internal camera access - the place was trashed. Various weapons were stowed away neatly - presumably Caulder's work - but everything else was in a shambles, including the security camera. That would have to be fixed; while there was no reason to expect another boarding attempt in the current circumstances, they couldn't know how long they'd be under the protection (if that's what it was) of Lethain Corp. and they couldn't risk their few portable weapons falling into an enemiy's hands for want of a secure place to store them. She made a note of all the damage that was more than cosmetic. She knew there were schematics available for both structural and all the electrical systems involved and she was confident that with their aid she would be able to many of the repairs herself, if not all. And she could probably drag Shaina away from her shipbuilding project if she needed a specialist. The chief issue of course would be materials. Were the replicators up to the job? Maybe Richard could get Lethain Corp. to handle repairs. They must surely have personnel assigned to that sort of work.

Having satisfied herself that she had all the necessary information she started heading back to the medical bay. She'd take a look round the other areas on her list later, but right now she felt she shouldn't be leaving the search team unattended for longer than necessary. And there was the matter of the medical examination too. Might as well kill two birds with one stone and get that out of the way while she was there.
