No, he also produces basic infantry units. (but you spelled "Kenyan" wrong...)

Hero Name: Dominion
Alter-Ego: John Fitzroy
Height: 6’3’’
Weight: 244 lbs
Eyes: Brown
Hair: Brown

Biography: John Fitzroy was the son of a jingoistic Canadian soldier and a Belgian prostitute, conceived 5 miles east of a NATO base in western Europe. Raised solely by his father in Edmonton, John came to idolize his role model, and when he turned eighteen, sought to emulate him by joining the Canadian armed forces. Unfortunately, he failed his physical examination, and his father denounced him as a coward and a weakling, leaving the him devastated. Eventually, John got a job picking up trash around an Albertan oil refinery, where he was regarded as an average employee, whose only real standout trait was an annoying tendency to launch into lengthy right-wing rants, which were largely tolerated due to the conservative leanings of his friends and coworkers.

One day, John's streak of meritocracy came to an end, when he fell into a radioactive oil spill, which somehow imbued him with Precambrian DNA, granting him amazing superpowers. The first thing he did was enlist with the Canadian military, which gave him the code-name “Dominion,â€

I'd like to point out how much I chuckled to myself that the ultra jingoistic Canadian is boss of the American President (if only in super heroics).

I've edited Dominion's profile in order to give him a new costume and given him ties to the Harper government, along with a shiny new, (if largely worthless,) gun, after consulting with the Cata.

Oh, and yeah, the Ultra-jingoistic Canadian conservative bossing around the center-left President of the United States was meant to add an interesting dynamic to the team.

Did a quick (20 minute) sketch of Dominion in pencil.

Boudica goes up tomorrow. After her comes the German heroine, Ringmaiden, followed up by a brief synopsis of modern history.

Sorry for the pointless doublepost, but Boudica won't be up until tomorrow. And in case nobody's noticed yet, a few days ago, we had our first official Retcon!

If you look back several posts, it is mentioned that in this timeline, the lack of Hitler limited WWII to the Pacific. Post Retcon, it's a global conflagration with Fascist Spain and Italy, along with Imperial Japan forming the Axis powers, which fight the Allied Powers of the UK, France, Germany, USA, and China. Sorry I forgot to mention it earlier.

Sorry if this seems rushed. My mother was trying to drag me on a religious guilt trip pretty much all day, which really put a cramp into my writing time.

Hero Name: Boudica
Secret Identity: Victoria Fletcher
Height: 6’2’’
Weight: 140 lbs

Bio: As a young girl, Victoria Fletcher was considered to be something of a tomboy, but otherwise unremarkable. However, as Victoria entered her teen years, puberty affected her differently then most of her classmates. Her formerly brown hair slowly gained a reddish hue, her formerly plain face became more and more striking, and her strength and durability grew from average to exceptional to superhuman. This would have been a welcome change, if it were not for the fact that the voices and memories from a two thousand year old dead Celtic warrior queen flooded her mind during this time. Needless to say, the following years would be very traumatic, with the “Boudicaâ€

Just thought I'd point out that the weakest of these people have the same strength as baseline Hulk.

Does anyone have any comments, criticisms, etc.? I like to know what I did right and wrong the last time before posting a new work. (Keep in mind, I was in a hurry when I posted Boudica, though.)

I personally agree with Chaz's comments about the powers, but I'm not THAT concerned about it, since it's doubtful our RP characters will have much if any direct interaction with these guys until after several possible stories, when the ground is much more solid beneath our feet and we know our own characters' assets and liabilities better.

Also personally, I really love the Boudica character.

Yeah, about that. I'm wondering, do you guys want to start soon, and have me post additional tidbits as you go along, or do you want me to be finished with all the history and a few dozen NPC's before you start? I don't mind either way, I'm just curious. (Naturally, Chaz has the final say.)

Hell, you've done more for this RP than I have. I figure it's your call. I never really intended for this to be my RP in the first place.

But, if we want to start I can certainly write up an opener.

Don't do anything you don't feel ready to do. I'll have some more stuff up over the weekend, (and by stuff, I mean, "crap I more or less make up on the spot, with only a vague concept of what its gonna be like beforehand" :P ) If there's anything in particular you need done soon, don't hesitate to tell me.

I apologize for the extreme delay, but I have come to the conclusion that you all deserve better than the piece of crap I had written up for Ringmaiden, so I'm going to create an entirely new replacement hero from scratch. This, naturally, will take another day or so, but hopefully it will be worth it.

Sorry for the long silence.

Hero Name: La Grenadiere
Alter-Ego: Marie-Louise Lafontaine
Aliases: Marlou, Bomb Lady, La Montrealaise
Age: Assumed early 70s, appears 30-ish
Height: 165 cm (5'6)
Weight: 59 kgs (130 lbs)

History:
In the early 60s, rumours circulated amongst McGill University's student body that one of their own was aiding the FLQ; the quasi-marxist separatists used terror and violence to fight for Quebec sovereignty. The rumours stated that a chemist, a bomb specialist of remarkable intelligence and ability, was helping the FLQ create a new super-bomb, and that this specialist was, at that very moment, still taking classes on the university grounds. Unlike the vast majority of these rumours, this one was completely true.

The mysterious bomb specialist was Marie-Louise Lafontaine, born to a wealthy family in Outremont, a suburb of Montreal. Having found herself, like many others, seduced by the rhetoric and idealistic intentions of the fringe groups which seemed so popular during the 60s, "Marlou", a brilliant student with a natural aptitude for chemistry, found herself working for the Quebec Liberation Front, more commonly known by its French acronym; the FLQ. By the time Marlou graduated from high school and entered University, she had already discovered an unnatural proficiency with explosives. It was then that she began working on the FLQ's superweapon.

By 1964, the bomb was nearly complete. However, Marlou's single-minded focus and obsessive work habits led to mistakes. A clumsily wired detonator failed at just the wrong time; just as a massive amount of high explosive had been hooked up. The resulting explosion wiped out ten city blocks, killed six hundred people and caused over five billion dollars (adjusted for inflation) of property damage. Somehow, the bomb's maker emerged from the ruins completely unharmed, save for a few shrapnel cuts on her arms. She was immediately arrested by the RCMP officers who arrived on the scene. After 48 hours in jail (any incriminating evidence had been destroyed by the explosion, though the RCMP continued to put her under surveillance), Marlou returned home to realize that she had capabilities which no ordinary human should have had, and that in addition, she had spent nearly her entire adult life using those capabilities to cause death and suffering. Struck by this epiphany, she walked away from it all, the University, the FLQ, all of it.

Unfortunately for her, the call knew where she lived.

In 1967, Epsilon Force and all of Canada were shocked by the sudden defection of Fleur-De-Lys, Quebec's member of Epsilon Force, to the FLQ. Now one hero short, Prime Minister Pearson ordered the enactment of the Powered Resources Requisition Act, allowing the government to seek out and draft any super-powered individuals to fill out Epsilon Force's roster. One of those "drafted" was Marlou, who reluctantly agreed that perhaps government service was just the thing to atone for the damage she had caused not so long ago. She accepted the government's eventual offer of a spot on Epsilon Force, and in response, the PM initiated the Royal Commission on Bilingualism, a move which would eventually make French an official language. Rebranding herself as "La Grenadiere", Marlou now works as Epsilon Force's tech specialist. Although there have been popular movements to replace her with a more traditional superhero, Epsilon Force has resisted the calls, though La Grenadiere's continued involvement with the Bloc Quebecois and the now public knowledge that she was behind the "Blast of '64" make her position precarious at best. Slizardium treatments have slowed her ageing, and she looks much as she did forty years ago. She continues to work as work as an active superhero, specialising in explosives and a pro-Quebec activist in federal politics.

Powers:
Immunity to the Direct Effects of Explosions (concussion and heat)
Genius-Level IQ
Superhuman Manual Dexterity

Weaknesses:
No Super Strength or other "staple" super powers
Clashes with more right-wing heroes (ESPECIALLY Dominion)

Mixed Blessings:
Connections within the Sovereigntist Movement
Flat-chested compared to more "conventional" female superheroes

Well, now that you've fixed my one major complaint, I'm good. Nothing remotely overpowered, and a pretty interesting backstory, all things considered. I'll give this one the thumbs-up.

I'm still up for it, if it ever gets started.

Living in the limelight, the universal dream for those who wish to seem.
Those who wish to be must put aside the alienation,
Get on with the fascination,
The real relation,
The underlying theme.

Right. I'm starting this again. Let me know if you're interested. I realized that if I sweat the small stuff till I got it right this would never start, and eventually I'd forget it, which I do not wish to do.

So, I apologize, but if you would like to join, please let me know, and either direct me to your previous entry, or use the profile in the first post to create a character. Since I'm a slightly fickle person, I'm aware that you may have a different idea for your character since when you first applied, so feel free to create a new profile if you so choose.
