In our family we usually make wishlists so those who are buying more than just token presents can be sure they're spending money on something we actually want, but this year there was very little I specifically wanted so I was given all sorts of interesting small things:

From my family:-
A sweatshirt saying "May the Force be with you"
A knitted stegosaurus and a knitted ammonite
A gift card for Caffè Nero
A charcoal drawing set
William Shakespeare's Star Wars (A New Hope written as a Shakespeare play)
Klingon for the Galactic Traveler
A foot warmer in the style of a sheep

From playgroup parents and staff:-
Two sets of bath products
A scented candle
A light cotton scarf
A winter scarf
A box of chocolates
Soap and hand cream
A packet of 'dark chocolate and nut mendiants' (I've never heard of mendiants)
A pair of socks with what I think is probably a badger face on them
A Lindor snowflake

I got a Classic Stormtrooper toque, a pair of large headed Figureines ((Pop! figurines. I'm uncertain how global they are)) The One Ring, A set of Legend of Zelda sword and Shield Keychains/pendants, a compass/sun dail, a large book of Starwars Trivia The Hobbit Trilogy extended edition on Blueray, clothes, and about five pounds of Reese candy.

Today I went out and purchased a PS4 with some money I also got.

A couple of Tolkien books and about half a dozen DVDs. Besides that, mostly various sweets and cider.

Good as it sounds? I've thought about getting it, but I've only seen it around once or twice.

I haven't started reading it yet but, given that all the dialogue is in Shakespearean English and iambic pentameter, I'm expecting it to be pretty amusing.

Gone Home (Steam) - from Aileen
Sword Coast Legends (Steam) - from Mark

(which I already owned)
Star Wars - The Force Unleashed II
Star Wars - The Force Unleashed Ultimate Sith Edition
Star Wars Battlefront II
Star Wars Empire at War - Gold Pack
Star Wars Jedi Knight - Dark Forces II
Star Wars Jedi Knight - Jedi Academy
Star Wars Jedi Knight - Mysteries of the Sith
Star Wars Jedi Knight II - Jedi Outcast
Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II - The Sith Lords
Star Wars Republic Commando
Star Wars Starfighter
Star Wars The Clone Wars - Republic Heroes

We got a Wii U this Christmas, along with these games:
Hyrule Warriors
Super Smash Bros.
Yoshi's Wooly World
Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival

and a Zero Suit Samus Amiibo for Ryan, for Smash. We did get Amazon gift cards, so we may end up getting other things as well!

Oh, and most exciting for me, as someone who loves to bake, but Ryan's mom got me a KitchenAid mixer and an extra attachment as well.

I'm refrigerating some sugar cookie dough that I mixed right now and will be baking them soon!

We've had a few more visitors since Christmas, and they also brought gifts. I got a plushie T-Rex in a Christmas sweater, and a couple of CD's (Apocalyptica - Shadowmaker and Epica - A Requiem for the Indifferent) from Ian and his girlfriend, as well as a bottle of Glühwein, a Baumkuchen and a small Stollen, as souvenirs from their holiday in Lübeck, and then my sister came and brought a pile of books for Mac and me to share (Shami Chakrabarti - On Liberty, Bill Bryson - Mother Tongue, Dave Gorman - Too Much Information, Isaac Asimov - The Complete Robot, and the first volume of Terra Formars, a manga by Yu Sasuga and Kenichi Tachibana).
