Your bandana's slipped down. (It was on your head in your last picture.) :P

The soft focus and darkish colours (I'm guessing that's probably due to the relatively low level of lighting, though it may be that the 3DS's lens simply isn't the best quality), coupled with the serious expression give a suggestion of an old masters painting. You didn't borrow Timothy's coat and go back in time, did you? :P

I'll admit I thought your last one was a more flattering picture of you, but this one is certainly interesting, as you said.

I may have gone back in Time, but I shan't own up to it, or else everybody will wish to go

I was just about to ask if that was part of your Halloween costume and then scrolled to the bottom and saw your caption. ;D

I look forward to seeing the whole costume. I certainly like the mask.

My sister and her friend took a bunch of photos for Ryan and I on Sunday as a gift for our one year wedding anniversary. Here is one of them! The rest are here.

Thank you! I am so thankful to my sister for doing this for us. She really did a great job. I want to make this a yearly thing for our anniversary. =)

That sounds a cool idea. And then, when you get to something really significant, like your silver wedding anniversary, you could make up an album of the best ones from all the previous years.

And so I prepare to do battle with the New York Winter with a shiny new used Trenchcoat, fresh from the Thrift Shop. It has a rather unnoticeable Ink-Stain, but I got it for about $14, so there is rather little about which I can complain with regards to it. It has even turned out to be, much to my surprise, Machine-washable.

Now I only need a Hat which matches it...

Deerstalkers aren't really my Thing... another Cadet Cap and a Pair of Goggles would be nice, though.

It's a rather military-ish looking Coat when you see the whole Thing (my 3DS can't do that without a full-length Mirror, which I do not have), so the Deerstalker doesn't really match in my Mind.

I suppose the Green doesn't really clash with it, but Uniforms are often made of Fabric in one or two Colours that aren't as different as Khaki and Green, and I am preparing to wage War with Winter... perhaps I ought to recruit Cata, whose Fault it is I don't already have a matching Hat.

I have a beige cap that would probably go quite well with that but there's no way a hat that fits me would fit you.

What a wonderfully eclectic mix of characters. XD And that costume looks very good on you. I love Ryan's face too. Is that a bought mask or did someone make it?

Only a Dark Jedi would deign to use a red lightsabre. Darth Vader's sabre, no less.
Well, maybe a very opinionated Gray Jedi.

Should I be proud or embarrassed that I know Darth Vader's lightsabre just from a partial view of the hilt?

We bought the mask. And I think my sister was Vader if he didn't turn evil. Something like that.

Don't worry; I noted the lightsabre too, so you're not the only geek. :p I very nearly commented on it, but was worried it might sound like a criticism. I decided to assume she was a grey Jedi - or she was a sithslayer, and was showing it off as a trophy. (Though that might be tricky unless that sabre passed into someone else's hands after Darth Vader's demise, given that we know she wasn't the one who killed him. :P)

Crest of Hyrule beanie...handmade scarf...is that pi on your shirt?

Sir, you need ironic facial hair and PBR. I can provide you with some music that I doubt anybody has heard of.
