This is the new thread for member photos and the like.
We're going to keep them all in one nice tidy thread from now on, so that if you want to find an old photo, you don't have to try and remember which year you posted it in.

To start things off, here's a photo of my that FESS got a while back.

What? Nobody's commented on this picture? In that case, I'll post our IM exchange about it yesterday.

[20:50:39] dino: ooh! nice photo! we finally get to see the sideburns :D
[20:51:11] Zeth: yes
[20:53:52] dino: gives you a vaguely victorian or very early 20th century look. i could imagine you getting ready to go out for a trip in one of the very earliest cars in that outfit
[20:54:22] Zeth: Yes, indeed. #monocle
OH GAWD I NEED A MONOCLE

To be fair, by the time most people see this picture the sideburns had been made 5 or 6 centimetres shorter. I didn't want them getting unruly.

I was actually wondering about the maintenance of sideburns and how you keep then looking neat. Do you need a special trimmer to keep the hair at the right length, and how do you make sure they're the same size and shape on both sides? Purely a matter of having a good eye?

Scissors, razor, eyeballs.
Hence why smaller would actually be much better for me, hence the recent shortening.

And then my hair was pink. Middle School Me would have my head on a platter. And then she would burn it.

I've never posted my pic on MI, so, in order to rectify that omission or some other such nonsense, I give you this.

Image

I...don't know what I was going for there. Maybe "apprehensive guy being approached by someone with a camera" except it turns out that the person with the camera was my hand. Or something. >_> If you're curious about the folksy picturey thing behind me, my parents seem to have a camp/bear/nature/bear camp theme going in every room past the living room, except for my room, which is full of horse stuff because it was my sister's room before she went into the Navy and I moved home.

Nice pic, though I do have to admit you're looking rather wary of your own hand looming over you with a camera . :P

For all you know there was.

Fun fact: the camera battery is dead so I had to do this with my webcam.

Yeah, I gave up a little more than halfway through. It's pretty hard and I'm rubbish at photomanipulation.

It's not my fault I'm rubbish at photomanipulation. And I'm certainly not going to aggrevate myself to perfection over WEEGEE.

I like that. It suits you. It also looks like you have blue streaks in your hair, which I'm guessing are from the light from the screen, but it the effect looks very attractive. XD

She does look very nicely administrative and authoritarial, now doesn't she? Something about the Expression and the Chair does that for me, as do what I gather to be the rather nice-looking Clothes.

I'm frightened by the Weegeefication of my picture, but Crystal's pic presents a nice counterbalance to the unimaginable horror a few posts above it.

Although all this nonsense about the probability of Weegee (tm) has given me an idea for a photo series. XD

Personally, I was amused by how Weegee's features lined up so perfectly with yours without my redistributing them. You can see it the most easily with the lip.

I'm trying to come up with a way to stick Venom and Luigi together and all I can come up with is VeeGee, which is slightly disappointing.

Anyway I'm glad you posted your picture, Venom. ^_^

Also yeah I'm in nice clothes 'cause I taught yesterday. Normally I'm just in a t-shirt or something. If you want to see me not looking formal and stuff, check the HAT OFF thread. xD Speaking of which, I need to update that. Perhaps later after I do the homework I need to do.

I ran out of hats.

I need to get a new one.

I think I know which one I want. I also know my backup, because I don't have 250$ to drop on a beaver skin top hat I'll never wear.

That just makes it even more horrifying, so thanks for that. :P

To be honest I've always thought I'd make a better Waluigi due to my height and general uselessness.
