Mercury's music review on the Offspring's album Americana.

Sound: 8.5
Lyrics: 8.5
Originality: 8
Overall: 8.3

Comments: Great album, although it's the basic Offspring stuff. It's old, but I still listen to it from time to time. I'm sure everyone knows "Pretty Fly For A White Guy," as that's the song that made me buy this album, but there are more good ones on it. Some of the more known are "Why Don't You Get A Job" and "The Kids Aren't Alright." Others I liked were "Shes Got Issues," "Staring at the Sun" and "Walla Walla." All in all, this album is nothing special, but it is one of the better punk albums and worth the money it costs these days. If you liked it, try more from The Offspring.
