Obsure and Outdated PS1 Games

My favorites are the original Rayman, Ogre Battle Saga, and (maybe no so obscure) Legend of Dragoon. What do you like or remember?

I fucking love Ogre Battle!

-Rival Schools: Divided by fate or whatever it was. First fightan game, loved the hell out of it.

I beleive we're forgetting the greatest game ever to grace the shelves: Medieval! Oh, and Spyro the dragon. And Abes Oddyssey and Exodus.

Wow, memories. I only know about half of the games mentioned, but I loved Ergheiz, Medevil, Earthworm Jim, Spyro. . . I really wish it wasn't so hard to find a working PS1. Anyone here remember Croc? Or perhaps Hexen? And just yesterday I was reminded of Fighting Force.

I liked The Grandstream Saga.
Aside from that try Kula World.
Its a weird puzzle game but very interesting, its also brain breaking and unique.

I thought that game was hilarious, especially the commentary. :D

We've still got loads of old PS1 games, and even a working Playstation (the original PSX, rather than a PS1).

Jade Cocoon: Story of the Tamamayu. It was given to me in middle school and I play it to this day. Simple, straightforward controls with a very in depth merge system and depressing story.

The Tomba and Parodius games were the shit, and I definitely echo the sentiment regarding Bust-A-Move, miss that game so hard. And I can almost guarantee that no one here has ever heard of Rat Attack (released for both the PS1 and N64 actually); a game that, while it was somewhat lacking in gameplay and difficulty, managed to hold my interest with its quirky characters and environments.

And I swear I have to be the only person that liked Crash Team Racing more than Mario Kart 64. someone shoot me now

edit: Oh and how the fuck could I ever forget Loaded. Fun as hell multiplayer that was a big hit among my friends and I, and it was the perfect remedy when I needed a good blood and gore fix.

My sons both used to love Crash Team Racing when they were kids. One of them got into Mario Kart later on, but the other one never did.

The Legend of Dragoon is one of my all time favorite RPG's..
I only wished they would make another.I think I remember seeing a review of that... looked interesting, but I didn't have my PS1 back then.
