Comments: Wolf Parade is a fantastic band that I would recommend regardless of taste.
If you like Modest Mouse and The Flaming Lips I HIGHLY recommend this band. They are light hearted and nice sounding.
The band works together marvelously. Though it may take a little getting used to the sound of the band when you first listen to them it will grow on you.
The lyrics are nice and most talk about love, even though it's not obvious. Some tracks reign over the others, in particular Fancy Claps and We Built Another World.
But all the songs on this album are good and worth listening to at least once. This album can be found at most stores and can be found pretty cheap.
I highly recommend everyone check this album out or at least listen to a few of the songs from it.

I dunno... it's nice for a shorty, but it needs a little more substance as far as content, maybe a little history about the band itself and previous projects to compare to. Just me though. I'll check them out when I get the chance, few other projects take priority at the moment.

I can't find any of their EP's, which came before this album, but I have the next album.
When I do a review for that I'll go so in depth your ears will bleed.

I think it could stand to have more detail. What does this album have that's different, and what would make me really want to listen to it?
I've noted that you guys need more detail. Next time I'll add a lot more.
As for the unique part, Wolf Parade blends a sort of rough feeling with soft sounds that are pleasant and attention capturing. The feel is captured by the instruments working in a rounding unison. Th drums being fairly rough but backed by the keyboard it feels softer. By listening into the music deeper you can hear individual instrument and understand how they support the rest of the band. All of this comes together in a very nice presentation that is a good background music as well as good music for just listening.

I think that last post would be a good paragraph to add as an explanation following this statement.
I think, since you mentioned that some tracks reign over others, it would be good to say why. As it stands, the review is very personal - it puts across very clearly the fact that you rate both the band and the album very highly, and your reasons are certainly valid, but some of your judgments could do with some objective information to back them up so that a person who is completely unfamiliar with this band can gauge whether they are likely to feel the same way that you do.
But I thought it was an interesting review. I think I'd agree with SuperShin - it's nice for a shorty.

You can revise as you go, Mof. I am really pushing for more detailed reviews, so this one gets a pending. Take the other reviewers' advice to heart, and improve on it, and I'll put it up.
Maybe I'll come back.
I'm listening to some new stuff so it won't have as much of a "I've been listening to this since it came out" bias.

The problem hasn't been bias. I've done many RHCP albums and they're one of my favorite bands. I don't mind that. We just have an issue with length and detail.
Yeah I already got that. I've posted that I've gotten that like four times.
I get that.

Then why are you bringing up other things...? You don't need to get offended; we're just trying to help, as you're trying to help us.
I'm not really offended, just annoyed at being told the same thing over and over again.
Anyways later today I'm going to try writing another review.
