What do you guys think is the scariest game?

I forgot what it was called, but it was about two twin sister who got a weird camera and every time they took a picture, a ghost or spirit would apper, or something like that. It was a while ago but it still made me scared s**tless.

The Silent Hill series, particularly 1, 2, 3, and Origins are pretty creepy in their own ways to me.

The Fatal Frame series is a different kind of scary, but still really worth a try if you like ghost stories, particularly Japanese ones.

I wanted to play Fatal Frame but never got around to it.
I cant really name a scariest game cause I'm a scaredy cat so I dont really play scary games. But I do love ghost stories, I dont mind getting scared by those, so that's what intrested me in Fatal Frame. I really should pick it up sometime.

Some of the ghosts in the Fatal Frame series can be pretty freaky. *Thinks about "Broken Neck"* *Shudders*

LOL @ Fritz.

I haven't played enough to be a good judge, since I'm too lousy a gamer to cope with most of them, but the various Silent Hill ones must be good candidates. I also thought Forbidden Siren (is it just called Siren in the US?) was pretty spooky from the little of it that I played.

Silent Hill 1, 2, and 3 for me. 1 for the creepy monsters and eerie cast of characters, 2 because of Pyramid Head, and 3 due to the atmosphere of the game.

Dino Crisis. When I was playing, it kept scaring the unliving piss out of me. Boogie Woogies, I can handle, but dinosaurs terrify me.

Fatal Frame: The Crimson Butterfly

I can't even play it. I have to watch somebody else play it and help guide them through. The game is just too much for me to handle.

Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem. Those fourth wall "sanity effects" made me stop playing it.
