Comments: Kurt Vonnegut, where would we be without you? This book is a must-read for anyone who loves connected chaos. This book is out there, but it has the workings of metaphors and images that link to each other, bringing sense to the insanity that is the main protagonist's life. You see, Billy doesn't live life chronologically. He doesn't even seem to live in the same dimension at any given time. He jumps from being in war fighting for his life to being on an alien planet where he has a relationship with a famous porn star. I know, it sounds crazy. It sounds like this man did a lot of drugs when he wrote it. But it's amazing. It's funny and sad, happy and terrifying, suspenseful and ridiculous. Vonnegut's writing style is easy to read; it's not terribly verbose, nor is it boring. Things are crazy, but at the same time they make sense. It draws you in with what little sense the plot makes, and blows you away with how fantastic it is.

This is easily one of my favorite books, and I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good read.

So it goes.
